How About a Little ObamaCare Scarecrow?

Is there an ObamaCare Christmas surprise waiting in your Healthcare.gov enrollment stocking?  Rep Mark Meadows is reporting on one over at the Washington Times.

It seems CMS [Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services] is taking a page from Jonathan Gruber’s book; rather than allowing the “stupid” masses to make a decision on their own health plan, CMS has proposed a new rule that includes an overly reaching provision allowing CMS to re-enroll anyone who has not made the annual trek back to healthcare.gov in a cheaper plan of CMS’ choosing.

To be clear, a citizen will sign up once for a private plan with a healthcare provider, only to have that plan changed by the federal government. Moreover, CMS will change your plan after the open enrollment period ends, leaving you and your family stuck with a potentially unwanted plan for the year.

Jonothan Gruber and the Democrats lie to you because in their mind you are not intellectually agile enough to know what is good for you.  This is why New Hampshire’s own Elaine Andrews Ahern believes you are so “unbelievably unsophisticated.”  She is not speaking in a vacuum.  From your Democrat selectman all the way up to your Democrat president, they think they know better.  You are not smart enough or sophisticated enough to know what is best for you and yourself or your family.

They are certain know best, so they lie to you – (and your little dog Toto too).  They have to lie.  They still need your votes to keep them in power and your money to pay for their plans.  But they are constantly looking for ways to keep the money and water down the influence.  To  get the milk without having to pay for the cow.  You are, after all, just a cow to them.  To do this they expand administrative law, empower the unelected to rule you without your say, and then convince you that this is a better way to do things.

In the end the better way excludes everything about you, your rights, your life, and your beliefs, in exchange for whatever portion of your paycheck they require fund their absolute rule.

Medicare, Medicaid, and VA patients should all expect similar treatment now, or later, as the experts deem it necessary.

By the way.  This will inevitably apply to everything else about your healthcare as well.  Coverage, access, prescriptions and treatments.  Just like we told you it would before they crammed it down your throat.

They also apply this mentality to everything else, and I mean everything.
