Can We Get NH Democrats on The Record About Hate?

Left wing hate goes unreportedSusan J. Douglas is a typical White Tower Democrat.

Susan J. Douglas is a prize-winning author, columnist, and cultural critic, and the Catherine Neafie Kellogg Professor of Communication Studies at The University of Michigan. Her book Where the Girls Are was widely praised, and chosen one of the top ten books of 1994 by National Public Radio, Entertainment Weekly and The McLaughlin Group. In her most recent book, Enlightened Sexism: The Seductive Message That Feminism’s Work Is Done (Henry Holt, 2010) Douglas continues her analysis of the mixed messages surrounding women, and the struggle she sees in the media between embedded feminism on the one hand and enlightened sexism on the other.

She also just wrote a piece entitled “It’s OK to Hate Republicans.”

Is it OK, Democrats?  Yes or No?

The NH Media has an excellent opportunity here.  This question is so simple even they would have a hard time screwing it up.  But can they bring themselves to ask?

When they call you, and we know they do, or you could call them, which we seem certain you are capable of, ask these prominent Democrats in our state, including Senator Jeanne Shaheen, governor Maggie Hassan, Congresswoman Ann Kuster, all the Democrat women in the NH State Senate, DNC Committee woman Kathy Sullivan, or even Chairman Ray Buckley– is OK to hate Republicans?

We’ll wait patiently for your in-depth reporting because we know that if a Republican had said “Is it OK to hate Democrats” you’d be burning up the phone lines so you could strip-mine column inches with Republican responses, and not just because the office of Democrat state party chair Ray Buckley had asked you to do just that.

New Media!  NH Republicans!  You Know Democrats.  Ask them.  Get them on the record.  Is it OK to H8 Republicans? let us know what you find out.
