Momentous issues for the Nation and NH, and our illustrious GOP Senator is tweeting that she’s so proud a bill she co-sponsored got Obama’s autograph! As you might imagine, such useless frippery – IN WINTER – ignited a “TwitStorm”! (H/T Twitchy.com)

Stuff you just can’t make up! While it’s true that FDA bureaucratic bungling holds up all kinds of worthy products, and keeps promising new or experimental drugs or therapies from reaching the American public, making such a fuss over sunscreen, in Winter, just shows how badly skewed the priorities of our lawmakers, even GOP lawmakers, have become.
If Ayotte had sponsored a bill to reduce the FDA’s bureaucratic review process, and given American citizens the chance to exercise informed choice over new and experimental products, one could have cheered at the reduction in government interference in our lives, but NO – a bill so narrow as to be laughable, and begging the questions:
- Why not something simpler and broader?
- Cui Bono? (IE Who’s lobbying for this?)
- Will it hold off the flames from your Primary opponents?
- What’s the penalty for not buying Gov’t approved sunscreen?
- Do we need to purchase through the Sunscreen Exchange?
- Do these new oils ease the pain from the way DC treats the citizenry?

Add to this, unwanted fiddling in the NH Speaker’s race, greatly increasing the chance that the Democrat agenda keeps moving forward off the fiscal cliff, and you have a very seriously misplaced set of priorities.
Why is it that Ted Cruz is out there, taking the arrows on behalf of conservatives as he battles Leviathan Government, regardless of who is nominally running it, while the BEST that NH can muster to send to DC is tied up with such piffling time-wasters as the “Sunscreen Innovation Act”!
In case you’ve not noticed, Senator, we NEED Bill O’Brien to prevent the Democrat agenda leading us over the cliff of a broad-based tax in NH, and we NEED real courage in DC to put out the flames which Obama is fanning. Are you a volunteer fireman (fireperson), or a deputy arsonist?
You have 12 hours to endorse Bill O’Brien sincerely, publicly, and heartily, or risk Democrat control of the NH house agenda. Do you believe in limited government? Well do ya?
