#BringBackOurGirls - Granite Grok

#BringBackOurGirls

Michelle_Obama_HashtagThe spring of 2014 seems a billion soundbites away, a billion being a gross underestimate but you get my point.  April 2014.  The month in which the wife of the President did us all a favor and stood before a camera holding a sign that read “#BringBackOurGirls.”

Michelle Obama was working the latest media-splash rope-line.  Reports indicated that a group called Boko Haram had kidnapped over 200 girls and was holding them hostage.   Ironically, Michelle Obama had been holding tens of millions of girls school lunches hostage.  Maybe the sign was how she chose to make herself feel better?

She must have succeeded.  Boko Haram and the kidnappings have long since vanished from the headlines on the Democrat propaganda reports–see also the evening 60 minutes hate news–but not because circumstances changed.

They are still “kidnapped,” even if the Obama’s, the Democrats, and their media wind-machine have long since moved on…

Abubakar Shekau, the mercurial leader of the Islamist group, smirked as he said that the girls would never be released because they had been “married off” to fighters.

“The issue of the girls is long forgotten because I have long ago married them off,” he said, laughing. “In this war, there is no going back.

“Don’t you know the over 200 Chibok schoolgirls have converted to Islam?” Abubakar Shekau said. “They have now memorized two chapters of the Quran.”

The terrorist organization has continued to kidnap (and presumably marry-off and covert) young girls in Nigeria, none of whom–happily–will have Ebola, if that matters.

So Boko Haram is still active, kidnapping young women, freeing priosners from jails, and terrorizing (attacking, sorry–Hillary said they are not terrorists) local villages who thanks to Hillary’s State department, are not living in any fear of their daughters being kidnapped or their men being shot, until they are.
