Lame questions, better answers

New WMUR logoI guess Pindell is having an off week – scanning through his questions of the week, I was rather disappointed with the offerings.  Oh well, c’est la – go with what’s there, laying on the street.

Will Republicans come home to Scott Brown in the final week or sit on their hands?

Oh sure:

Stark and Langdon

Will the Fairpoint strike become a bigger political issue in the final week of the campaign?

The only way that happens if (for some “unexpected” reason) is if there is a widespread outage and something really bad happens during it – and that badness is directly attributable to the outage.  Look, I’m no Fairpoint fan (how bad can it get when the company has to send me mail apologizing that their website prevented me (for months!) to actually giving them money).  IMHO, the unions learned absolutely NOTHING from the Market Basket issues.  But then again, there were no unions with Market Basket – the fighting was all at the top.

Update: from the comments from CaptDMO: “Lest we forget, it’s not “Fairpoint workers” on strike, It’s the IBEW.”

Will all the Democratic effort to get college students to vote actually work?

When people are seen as being valued, they respond and the Dems show that they value this votes.  It doesn’t hurt that the “garden” in which these students are planted are greenhouses for the New Left / Socialist Party.

Did Walt Havenstein miss a big opportunity to criticize Maggie Hassan over the situation in Keene?

ALL of the Republican candidates missed LOTS of opportunities to put the knife in (politically and metaphorically speaking, of course) and twist.  Note to same – next time, bring in some “obsessed right wing” bloggers to give you some line – and better, items to remember.  TMEW got tired of me yelling at same “YOU MISSED THIS!  YOU FOGOT THAT!”.
