So Kelly Ayotte, is this the Amnesty you have been looking for?

Careening off the beaten path of conservatism.
Careening off the beaten path of conservatism.

Sorry, but here at the ‘Grok, if you tell us one thing during your campaign for office (adamantly anti-Illegal Alien Amnesty) and then flip on the issue for no discernable reason (other than what the picture shows to your left) (yes, she was then for it after being against it), we tend to take notice – and are keeping our flashlights on.  You see (like we are trying to educate Ed Mosca about), Principles matter to us – a LOT!  What IS the principle for you, Kelly?  Is it a strong one, resting on Granite?  Or the wind of political expediency?  After all, strong words AGAINST before election against, then strong words FOR a bit down the track.

But then when our Southern Border started looking like chicken wire, your Amnesty words fell silent.  You see, Kelly, we promised to watch – and listen.  Silence SHOUTS loudly.

Fast forward to today and the news that President Obama is granting Executive Illegal Alien Amnesty to 100,000 Haitians that aren’t even here yet – but will be soon based on Chain Migration.  Is this the kind of droids Amnesty you are looking for, Kelly?

Oh, and the news that President Obama is about to grant green cards to ANOTHER 34,000,000 Illegal Aliens?

USCIS Contracting will be posting a solicitation for the requirement of Card Stock used by the USCIS Document Management Division. The objective of this procurement is to provide card consumables for the Document Management Division (DMD) that will be used to produce Permanent Resident Cards (PRC) and Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards. The requirement is for an estimated 4 million cards annually with the potential to buy as many as 34 million cards total

The ordering periods for this requirement shall be for a total of five (5) years. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) supply purchase for commercial items, utilizing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 325211 and Product / Service Code (PSC) 9330. This requirement is for the acquisition of 100% polycarbonate solid body card stock with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and holographic images embedded within the card construction substrate layers, card design service, and storage.

PRCs are, of course, green cards while EADs are work permits, typically issued with a one-year term. Needless to say, the requested supply goes far beyond the demand created by Obama’s last executive amnesty, the DACA program for DREAMers. As of March, 550,000 people had enrolled; even if you assume, say, a million enrollees eventually, that’s 5 million EADs needed at most over the next five years plus, potentially, a million PRCs. Assume another two million work permits issued each year for other guest workers in the normal course of business and add in the current wait list of nearly five million people for green cards. You’re upwards of 21 millions cards needed over the next five years. So what’s that 34 million figure all about?

Per Strong, if you read down into the feds’ solicitation for bids, you find this:

Nine million cards in year one, potentially, to meet “future immigration reform initiative requirements.” Hmmmm. That could, I suppose, refer to a comprehensive bill passed by Congress rather than an executive amnesty ordered by The One.

Like the US Senate Bill already signed by US Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH).  34 Million Illegal Aliens – that’s more than 10% of our present US population.  How’s THAT assimilation gonna work – and you can bet, Kelly, that US and NH Taxpayers are gonna pay that price – and it will be a dear price to pay.  Funny thing – giving up Principles has a way of boomeranging on you – political karma?  Will there be a price to be paid by those that vote this Amnesty bill, like there was for the Democrats that voted the Obamacare bill?

Now to be fair, I called Ayotte’s DC office to try to speak to her new PressSec, Liz Johnson.  Had to leave vmail but the question was:

“given how adamant she was against illegal alien amnesty during her campaign but seemingly has flipped that position, what IS her official policy and how does that play against Obama’s Executive clemency (reported by Conservative Review and Hot Air)??

Hopefully I will hear sooner from her than what I have from the NH GOP on updating the NH GOP Platform.  Oh yeah, the Platform is still against illegal alien amnesty – or does that no longer matter either?
