Steve’s post is spot on – the philosophy and demanded results that he outlined, in and of themselves, have their own outcomes. “They have brought this upon themselves” – but can Progressives understand that messing with human nature is a fool’s errand? Do they realize that NO number of “external iron bars” can ever replace an internally centered morality? Naw – again, as Steve points out, they have spent the last 100 or so years working as hard as they can in denigrating / diminishing our Judeo-Christian heritage that provided a common morality and creating (on purpose) a vacuum into which they believe THEY (the Smart People) can create a new morality for their Utopia. Yeah, we see how well that’s working, don’t we?
Oh, by the way – has anyone realized that these students are not children? They are grown, legal adults? That they (and their parents) are paying HUGE tuitions? To be treated like 3 year olds, having to ask for permission for Anything else get put into judicial hell for the rest of their lives?
Where do these Progressive Nanny Staters get off telling adults how to behave in the first place? And WHY have we let them do this to us, Free Citizens?
