The ‘Truth’ Depends On Which Room (or State) You Are In.

havensteinI’ve seen enough evidence to prove Walt Havensein meets the technical qualification for NH Residency.  He certainly has more right to vote here than non-resident Democrat staffers, roving bands of Obama Courtiers, or progressive party camp followers.   Walt’s problem is much deeper than that, or this…

In 2007, Havenstein signed a pair of affidavits pledging that his primary residence at the time was in Maryland, and for four years, he received tax credits known as the homestead exemption.

But upon entering the race for governor, Havenstein asserted that he has always lived in New Hampshire, and the state Ballot Law Commission ruled in his favor.

Revenue officials in Maryland told News 9 that Havenstein shouldn’t have accepted benefits in that state.

WMUR

Walt did not just find $9,000.00 in tax credits in his milk box, he signed legal documents swearing his right to the exemption.  The act itself was deliberate.

Now, compare that to our reporting Tuesday night in which Mr. Havenstein stated, flat out, that he would veto medicaid expansion if elected governor, and how he said the opposite on WMUR’s Close Up this past Sunday.

These are not separate and isolated events.

“To insinuate for a second that my character is anything less than honorable I find totally apprehensible.”’ -Walt Havenstein.

Apprehensible means – “capable of being understood or perceived.”  Sounds like and admission of guilt to me.  Walt gets how he is.

But will the voters?
