Phony-ing It In – Brown’s Fake TV Ads

Apparently, when you’re as busy and important as Scott Brown, you don’t have time for the little details, such as reading the awful Dodd-Frank bill before voting for it**, actually researching the background of a shell corporation before signing on, or even, actually being on location for his on-location advertisements! Check out these half-Brown images, courtesy of Buzzfeed:

Two-Half-Browns Color him green! At least he used less energy than it would take to drag a film crew to the locations where he supposedly shot recent TV ads, but (you won’t hear this often) kudos to Buzzfeed for deconstructing Brown’s advertisements and matching them up with stock backgrounds from ShutterStock! Apparently, our phony ‘friend’ recorded the ads in front of a green screen, and the “location” was added later – maybe they were even recorded in the same session?

It’s somewhat understandable that the airport footage was stock, but what about that log cabin in NH, which the campaign convinced Kevin Landrigan was at Scamman Farm? Mmmmm… Not so much – also a ShutterStock standard backdrop. Are you telling me that it is so hard to find an authentic NH location for an advertisement that he had no choice but to phony it in?

We are talking about a phony of EPIC proportions here, and yet the State Party continues to back him over two home-grown candidates who, by rights, should be debating their way to the primary without a brown shadow hanging over them! Let me count the ways: Phony Republican who can’t (won’t) vote the party platform, phony representative of NH – he’s only in it for himself, and phony even in his advertisements – can’t even find a real cottage in NH!!

** If he actually did read the bill, he shows either a shocking lack of comprehension, or an intent to reduce us under absolute despotism – Remember, Liz Warren was so pleased that ‘she’ got the CFPB acted into law (it’s one of the worst parts of Dodd-Frank).
