This illegal invasion has been triggered over several Administrations (both Republican and Democrat) with the seemingly unwillingness to enforce our laws on immigration (see part of the farce here).
And does anyone believe that they are paying for anything that they are consuming? Stop with the “heartless” thoughts – I am asking a perfectly valid “economics only” question. If they are not paying, well, then who is?
Bingo! Hey, you want me to consider “immigration reform” (no, I will NOT agree to comprehensive” anything anymore – that just says “you’re lying to me” and that goes for BOTH Parties (listening there, Kelly Ayotte?). Just secure the border. Seal it – and enforce it. We have a legal way of allowing LEGAL immigrants into the country. I don’t like that either (I have better ideas) but as long as it is on the books, use it.
