Governor Maggie "Fracking" Hassan - Granite Grok

Governor Maggie “Fracking” Hassan

We are right to assume that Democrats favor subsidies for green energy projects, redistribution schemes like the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), and renewable energy standards that use government force to require power providers to buy more expensive wind and solar derived electricity to put it into the grid, because they supported, voted for, and defend these policies.

The majority of noise opposing coal, and the ongoing cacophony in opposition to new oil and gas extraction technologies which make those resources more abundant and less expensive–create jobs, growth and even tax revenue (like Hydraulic fracturing or fracking), come from Democrats and liberals.

New Hampshire’s Democrat Governor Maggie has always been on board or at the forefront of the latest green tax scheme or boondoggle.

How does that comport with this?

One of her (few) so-called political victories is a 22% increase in exports from New Hampshire.  Business NH Magazine reports that 21.3% of that so-called declared increase comes from oil, fracked out of the ground in the Bakken oil fields, carried via rail, through New Hampshire (without ever stopping here) on its way to Canada.

Fraud, yes.  She’s a Democrat, what else should we expect.  But what about the other fraud?

Where is the outrage from the environmentally conscious liberal Democrats who clutter up New Hampshire as if we were a political episode of hoarders?

I’m not just talking about the naturally occurring, culturally re-programmed socialists.  We’ve got progressive transplants, implants, and neo-socialist democrat party Staffers running loose all across the state.  A majority of hem will or have supported Maggie ‘Fracking’ Hassan or a majority of Democrats in New Hampshire who oppose Fracking for whatever reasons the party has instructed them to produce when asked.

HOW THE HELL is letting fracked oil travel through New Hampshire not challenged by the courtiers of knee-jerk environmental fascism?

Why are the same mouthpieces for progressive propaganda ignoring, allowing, or trumpeting the export data as a sign of Hassan’s competence?

Can we assume that, like everything else Democrats claim to defend on principle (women, blacks, gays, the poor), that the environment is also just another talking point easily discarded when defending what you said last week might benefit an opponent or harm some other Democrat.

Hassan and her bureaucrats are standing firm on taking credit for fracked oil exports that came from someplace else and then left, that never even stopped in New Hampshire –kind of like thousands of their drive by ‘voters.’

The difference here, however, is that Hassan is taking credit for exports her party opposes and that party leadership has worked hard to hinder and even prevent.

If these progressive political efforts against fracking were successful, Maggie “Fracking” Hassan wouldn’t have the oil she is claiming as a New Hampshire export to falsely trumpet as evidence of her international trade prowess.

She’d have a 0.7% increse in New Hampshire exports to show for all her “hard work” as governor.

Which is more ironic?  That the Democrat left is ignoring the issue of fracked oil travelling through New Hampshire, Maggie ‘Fracking’ Hassan taking credit for it as a New Hampshire export, or some combination of both?
