Deranged women demand birth control! Why stop there?

Woman Holding Onto Man's LegToday Jeanne Shaheen decided that jobs & the economy (which have been an epic fail under Democrat rule) are far less important than birth control.  She signed on to the following idiocy:

The Protect Women’s Health from Corporate Interference Act of 2014, introduced by U.S. Senators Patty Murray (D-WA) and Mark Udall (D-CO) and co-sponsored by Shaheen, would amend the Public Health Service Act to prevent employers from denying their employees or their employees’ dependents health coverage that is guaranteed to them under existing law. Under the legislation, employers, regardless of religious affiliation would not be allowed to deny their employees contraceptive coverage or any other specific health care item or service. The law also maintains the existing exemption for houses of worship and religious non-profits.

Since birth control is readily available and easily accessible across the country (taxpayers DO spend almost 1/2 BILLION on Planned Parenthood alone in this country) I think there are things that are much more necessary and much more difficult to get that I want Shaheen to DEMAND from my employers.   The list is below:

1. Self-defense is an ACTUAL right so I want employers to provide me with ammo.  It’s expensive and not always readily available.  Birth control is easier to find than ammo and far cheaper.  Protecting myself is a matter of staying in good health.

2. Espresso.  Espresso is also expensive and much more difficult to find than birth control.  Doctors say it’s also good for my health.  I want Shaheen to mandate employers provide it at no cost to employees.

3. Manis and Pedis.  Look, I have to look my best.  Manis and Pedis are required in order to present myself in a good light to my employers. These are SERVICES that are also good for my health.  I believe it should be their responsibility to pay for this.  Once again, they are more expensive and not as easily accessible as birth control.

4. Hair styling products.  I can’t just buy OTC hair styling products. I have to purchase the high-end stuff.   Since keeping my hair healthy is also a health care item.  I believe my employers should have to provide this to me since it’s far, far more difficult to find than birth control.

5. Red Wine.  Doctors also say that 1 or 2 glasses of red wine a day are healthy.  In order to stay healthy, I must maintain this habit.  It’s expensive.  This is yet another item that employers should cover that is far more expensive than birth control.

6. Bandaids, cough medicine, general first aid supplies etc.  Oh wait, we used to be able to purchase these health care items under the FSA rules but Democrats ENDED that.  These truly ARE health care items so I want Shaheen to DEMAND my employers provide them to me.  It doesn’t matter they are readily available and over-the-counter.  It’s my right dammit!

7. Dark  Chocolate. Doctors have also come up with scientific proof that dark chocolate in moderation is healthy for you.  Since the truly good stuff is expensive and not as easy to find as birth control.  Employers should also be forced to provide this as well.  (h/t Heidi!)

I could come up with many more but you get the point.  Shaheen and her ilk are treating women, once again, like we are weak-minded little morons who cannot take care of ourselves.  They forget they push Planned Parenthood and FORCE taxpayers to pay for this program which is supposed to provide easy access and cheap birth control.  This shows their utter contempt for women voters.

These deranged women cling to Big Daddy Government with their demands that someone ELSE pay for their birth control.  They make women look like complete fools as they chant their demands for IUDs and Plan B.  At some point, left wing women stopped thinking for themselves and decided that government and their employers should do it for them.  How pathetic.

The problem with left wing women is they can’t think outside of their box.
