Buyers Remorse Double-Tap: Did Ayotte Give 10K$ To Cochran?

Mike Rogers posted a handy list of US Senate donors who stepped in to help stop the unwinding of Thad Cochran’s Senate Career.

The RINO’s put their covered wagons in a circle to protect one of their own.  Now that there is a slew of electoral impropriety attached to the win, it is worth knowing who paid how much to keep the TEA Party out of the ‘Big Tent.’

You remember the big Tent?  That Party place that can’t wait to find a way to provide tax-payer funded amnesty to illegal immigrants (also known as staunch Democrat voters) but spends tons of its own money to keep actual Republicans from access to a party ironically named the ‘Republican Party.’

Mike had reported data from the Senate Conservatives.com site that showed NH Senator Kelly Ayotte was into the Cochran bailout for $5,000.00 dollars.  But I have a link from the Washington Post that says she donated $10,000.00 to the save Thad’s nads fund.  Did Ayotte give 10K$?

Should we add them together to get $15,000.00?   And how much of that was used in the alleged vote buying scheme that used Democrats to help Cochran win a Republican primary?

And why not?  They let the Democrats into the Big Tent a long time ago.  Some of them are even revered by the party.

Scott Brown votes with Obama 70-80% of the time and he’s one of the Big Tent heroes.  (Sounds like a great name for a song sung to the tune of Foreigner’s Juke Box Hero).  And that tells you something about the 21st Century GOP.  They are becoming more “Democrat” than 20th century Democrats.

And while were linking to old music how about a version of this song, with lyrics about Republican heroes voting with Obama 70% of the time retitled, ‘Don’t That Make Your Scott Brown Blue?”

It’s pretty sad when “a good Republican” is indistinguishable from a Democrat.  It is even sadder when Republicans like Ayotte, who toed the TEA Party line to get into office, are so blinded by the allure of the Georgetown Flu and the RINO virus, that they simply pull the trigger on a $10K donation for someone like Thad Cochran because that’s what you do if you want to “get something done,” clearly with no regard to what it is you are actually doing.

Sure, you could argue that she was trying to preserve an endangered species, but the last time I checked there were enough Democrats in the DC surrounds and DC’s franchise progressive re-education camps (Universities) to spare a few thousand every election to steal our votes in New Hampshire, something else the GOP has no apparent  interest in stopping because hey — it’s a big tent.  Except for those Tea Party types.  They actually expect Republicans to try and follow the platform.  No room in the tent for that.
