"I just don’t know where their politics end" - Granite Grok

“I just don’t know where their politics end”

Gilliam said he was concerned that “the real objective of this fight has turned into politics, and we’ve lost our mission objective.”

I just don’t know where their politics end and their legality and their war-fighting start,” he said.

This from a post where Jonathan Gilliam, a former Navy SEAL and an FBI special agent was commenting on the ability of the Obama Administration to manage our wars (or rather, inability) and this very disturbing .  He, and I bet most people, just don’t understand the basic of Progressivism in government:

There IS no end to their politics.  Period.

Unlike most people, who simply wish to go about their lives, there can be no life without Government which necessarily MUST include politics.  After all, there are those of us that want to be left alone – we ARE seen as “the enemy” and are “evil” to the point of being re-educated.  Why else does Political Correctness exist but as a tool for changing the body politics’ outlook, thought patterns, and morality?  Progressives are the living embodiment of Cicero’s warning:  “You may not be interested in politics but be sure, politics IS interested in you.”

Always remember the esteemed words of NH State Rep Leigh Webb (D) who pithily sums up the Progressive view of Citizens:  “The role of government is to legislate behavior“.

And since Progressives are acutely aware that many of us really get upset when told “you must think and act this way”, the process to make sure we “think right” will never end.  And thus, politics will never end, either.
