GrokTALK! June 28th, 2014 – The Videos

OK, I’m later than normal.  Posting has been real light as my old laptop had “severe issues” after last week’s remote at the Londonderry Fish & Game Club & GrokShoot – had to spend most of last week trying to recover from that.  Thankfully, I had done a full backup the week before so most of my time as been spent trying to recover emails, email rules, and the assorted documents received from pre- to post crash.  It also has meant that my responding to emails and other inquiries, well, has gone by the board in trying to go from barely functional to mostly operational (yeah, in trying to process video, this new Windows 8.1 Essentials Live Movie Maker decided that the audio from “videos to be processed and posted” was going to be turned into mere “audio clicks”.  In the Grand Scheme of things, all in all, worse things have beset me in the past but man, talk about frustrating!  Hopefully things will get back to some semblance of normal this week and back to “posting regularity”.

In the meantime, here are the videos that accompanies Steve’s audio posting of this week’s GrokTALK!

Pre-Show: NH State Rep Marilinda Garcia (Candidate for NH GOP nomination for US Congress, NH CD-2) comes on to promote her “Race to Congress” event at the NH Motorspeedway in Loudon, NH and offer two GOLD VIP passes to the event to GrokTALK! listeners.

GraniteGrok went to the event last nite – will post up the video later on today.

The Pre-Show – which, btw, almost didn’t come off as it might – 5 miles outside of Concord, I get a call from Steve “Hey, you ARE going to be here – I sent you email that Marilinda Garcia was calling in early for the GOLD VIP Ticket giveaway (and YOU HAVE THE HEADSETS!!!!!).  Heck, I was just happy that I could resurrect my old laptop to do the livestreaming as it was a bit recalcitrant in attaching to the UStream servers.  Oh, and did I mention that TMEW’s laptop ALSO died this past week, so I had to reset up two new systems…..Rest of the videos after the jump.

  • Segment 1 – Groksters Steve, Mike, and Skip talk about the news of the day and week and concentrating on why “being Constitutional” is the job for all of us.
  • Segment 2 – Kevin Arvid comes on to talk about his run for NH State Senate District 12 on platform of defending private property rights and the desperate need for defending the Right of Redress of Grievances and the fixing of our judiciary system.
  • Segment 3 – Mark Chenoweth, General Counsel of the Washington Legal Foundation on Jackpot Justice here in NH and extortion by lawsuit (and the Groksters figure out how to pronounce MTBE correctly (no, not the actual name, just the acronym).
  • Segment 4 – NH State Rep JR Hoell (and Grokster!) comes on to talk about the NH State Republican sponsored (and approved) new gas tax, Gov. Hassan, the ruling by the US Supreme Court that the MA abortion clinic buffer law was unconstitutional (limiting Free Speech) and that ruling’s effect on NH’s SB319, our own abortion clinic buffer rule, the Constitution, and much more.
