Is Dan Innis A Faculty Lounge Democrat Plant?

INNISI’ve been waiting a while to ask this.   Is Dan Innis a Faculty Lounge Democrat Plant sent to use a Republican wave election to ensure the left holds CD-1 in New Hampshire?

He was a registered Democrat.

He did give 500.00 dollars to Jackie Cilley,  she being the more extremist left wing Democrat in the 2012 primary race for governor.  And yes, that was on WMUR yesterday, and Pindell noted that Innis donated to Cilley a month before she even officially announced.  That means he donated to encourage her to run.   He encouraged an extreme left-wing, pro tax and spend, Progressive liberal Democrat to be the fiscal and political boss of the state of New Hampshire.

I think that means more than just tossing her a few bucks after the fact.  Why not Hassan, who while just as bad was running as a moderate Democrat?   Why not any number of Republicans who were exploring (or already running); if you wanted to drop 500 bucks on a candidate for governor and you stand for Republican principles, donating to the far left Democrat leaves you with a Lady Macbeth moment — Out, damn spot!

And why did Mr. Innis list the Ale house Inn as his employer for the purpose of the donation to Cilley.  Why not UNH?

Now, I’ve met Dan Innis and heard him speak.  He’s a great guy.  Very nice.  Intelligent and well spoken.  He understands business but I don’t think he has had some true free-market awakening–the kind that would equate with the Republican Platform.     He is a Democrat, socially progressive, fiscally suspect, which might just make him a moderate Democrat with no place to call home.  And given how the New Hampshire Republican party has been behaving I guess I can’t fault him for thinking this was the place for him to run.

But as disgruntled as I might be with the past performance of Frank Guinta, Innis should not be given the Republican nod to challenge Carol Shea-Porter, who is not much different from Jackie Cilley, whom Innis supported.

That leaves us, by the way, with Brendon Kelly, who IS a small government, pro-liberty, Republican, running in CD-1.  Are things getting any clearer?

Update -added image of Dan.  Tweaked a few sentences.  Spelled Mr. Kelly’s name correctly.
