RINO Finger-Pointing - Granite Grok

RINO Finger-Pointing

“Everything is changing. People are taking their comedians seriously and the politicians as a joke.”  —Will Rogers

Brown-Lesko-TheosI saw the first Scott Brown for Senate campaign ad this morning on the local, “puppies and kitties,” affiliate, Channel 9. Last week, Scott Brown visited Joe Kelly LeVasseur’s Theo’s Restaurant and, “worked the crowd,” Joe tells me.  Slickster, is how I characterized it.

“Carpet Bagger, good for Massachusetts, not New Hampshire, Anti-gun, RINO,” are all characterizations I have heard about Scott Brown from various people. But I think we’ve all seen and heard the bits and bites relating to Scott Brown, thus far.

Then there are we who will not support Scott Brown under any circumstances. “We will not drink the Kool-Aid; We will not buy into the narrative. Simply put, we will not be convinced that he is the best guy to represent the people of New Hampshire.”

It cannot be denied that the New Hampshire Republican Party Establishment has anointed this guy. These RINO hacks act as if Brown is the nominee and the the primary is basically, proforma.

So what happens when one goes to facebook and declares, “I will not vote for Scott Brown.”?  Hence, the narrative template:

That’s what gives the Dems the close races. Fracturing of the Republican Party. To divide is to conquer . I would much rather have a Senator that votes to my liking most of the time than one (like Shaheen ) , who never does.

BROWN-DID-I-DO-THATLets look at the concept of fracturing the Republican Party. The Republican Party fracking began in 2008 when McCain was the nominee, his ticket only bolstered by the presence of Sarah Palin. The Establishment RINO’s will tell you that Palin was his downfall, though. Then we had Mitt Romney who could not close the deal and the RINO Establishment blamed conservatives for staying home.

“Having a Senator that votes to my liking most of the time than one who never does.” This is disingenuous logic. No Senator or Congressman will vote 100% of the time to every person’s liking. It just never happens. And that notion is actually a mischaracterization of Scott Brown’s record. Brown shamelessly admitted in Portsmouth on March 18, that he voted with Democrats fifty percent of the time and with Republicans the other fifty percent.  It cannot be denied that in order to vote in that manner, one must completely contravene the Republican Party Platform.

“He or she who won’t vote for the lesser of two evils will be rewarded with the worst of the two.” I love this little admonition. So many went to the polls and voted for McCain and Romney. Yet, we get Barack Obama. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. And, that is the hallmark of today’s Republican Party. It is never the party fielding bad candidates. It is the bad voter who won’t vote for them. They are the blame others party.

“You never see the Dems split over their party’s candidates. Watch a vote in the NH House and see how many Dems cross party lines.”

SCOTT-BROWN-JOHN-WAYNE-REGULAR-GUY-PICKUP-BSa1This is the old adage: If the dems do it, we should too.

Harry Reid is betting that all conservatives in NH deliver Jeanne Shaheen back to the Senate for another six years. Sounds like Harry has a few friends on this string. For conservatives to not cast a vote for him in the general against Jeanne Shaheen, should he make it to the general, just puts a big smile on Harry Reid’s and Barack Obama’s face – and probably puts two more liberals on the Supreme Court!

Again, here is yet another example of RINO’s advocating for Scott Brown long before the primary. Notice there are no Republican ideas, concepts or core values contained in the Republican Platform in this defense of Scott Brown as our candidate. None.  The RINO hacks want Brown to run for no other reason than having an “R” next to his name. Who will disagree with me that this message is about the guy and not about the core principles?

“There is no such thing as a RINO. It’s a term that only blind followers of Sean Hannity use…If one is over 18 years of age and that person is still using the adolescent word RINO, then there is more going on than just having a problem with Brown… If Brown wins the primary, you may not like it, but if you cry, and take your ball and bat and go home instead of voting for Brown, then YOU elect Shaheen… Bob Smith is unacceptable to be on moral and ethical grounds…”

Scott-Brown-Kool-Aid3RINO denial….Blind followers of Sean Hannity…accusations of acting juvenile….lecturing and doom-saying….Then, just when the diatribe cannot get any better, It is implied that if Bob Smith were the candidate, one might stay home. Who?  is fracturing the Republican Party?

Those are some snippets of the Kool-Aid drinkers who support Scott Brown. This Primary is not about finding a candidate with clear principles that reflect the electorate. This Primary is about shoving down our throats the establishment-anointed candidate with an R next to his name to take on the uber-liberal, leftist Shaheen. We already know that if somebody other than Scott Brown wins the primary, the N.H. GOP will turn their backs and support given will be mere window dressing, lacking the meaningful support…and moderates and RINO’s will stay home, doing the very thing they accuse we conservatives and evangelicals of doing.

If the RINO’s have their way, our clear choice is Big Government Candidate A (Scott Brown) or Big Government Candidate B…Jeanne Shaheen. Voting for the lesser of the two evils will still give us evil…Which only means the bargain was corrupt going into the booth.  The difference is between a sh*t sandwich and  the whole turd.  So what will the Sheeple do on Primary day? No candidate is perfect. They are not going to vote for everything important to each and every individual. But Scott Brown will be wrong half the time…perhaps more. Do we want or need that?

Today it is not at all unusual to hear members of the Republican Party referring to the “Far Right,” or, the “extreme right,” or the “religious right” or the, “evangelicals.”  All of which are narratives out of the progressive-democratic playbook. All of which is divisive. So just who is dividing the Republican Party?
