I will not apologize for my Values

I will not apologizeWhy should I apologize for my Faith?  Why are my Family Values wrong?  And what is so dang wrong with having our NH Government govern within the bounds of the NH Constitution?  And why do our national politicians ignore the rather clear values enumerated in the US Constitution when they come up with laws that the rest of us have to obey?  If I reject my Faith, I lose my salvation.  If I ignore my Family, I will lost it.

Do you wonder why we are losing our State and Country?

Values matter – they are what drive us.  Yet, we who are traditionalists are told, over and over, that they no longer matter.  That they are outdated and are of no value and that we must adopt Progressive values that will lead us “forward”.  My question is “to what does that forward lead to?” – and there never is an answer.

My Father taught me to work to provide and protect, and before he died when I was young, the installation of values of duty, honor, and courage.  My Mom taught me to care, take care of the details, and be self-sufficient (as she had to be after Father died).  Education was the way to a better life – get that first degree and then an advanced degree, for that knowledge can never be taken from you.

My Faith has taught me that I am both a fallen guy and a forgiven one by grace and a Gift.  It has taught me that there IS more than just myself in this world, and a Power greater than myself to whom I am accountable.  It taught me that *I* can have self-control if I only grasp and use it.  I have free will and that I can make choices for my behavior at all time and not in thrall to animalistic urges that popular culture believes.

My Constitutions inform my of my Natural Rights and that great men who studied much and hard tried to create a form of Government that was supposed to protect those Rights if they would only be put into practice, both in letter and law.  That it was supposed to be Individuals over the Collective, and that Government should be below and serving its Citizens and not trying to change them for the political whims of the day.

So no, I will not apologize for those Values.
