From Heritage:
So, if you have a Bronze plan in a four person family, your total family deduction could be $18,468 on an individual basis in the aggregate. I have seen the number of $12,700 for the actual max family deduction at this “metal level”. Still, how many middle class families can afford that when the premiums are $500 – $1,200 / month? That is a total outlay of $18,700 to $12,700 PER year – how many middle class families can do that? Affordable?
No. Effectively this is stripping away the necessary healthcare from kids & parents when things go south. Sure, the “preventative” procedures may be free (as declared by a top down committee from a far off set of bureaucrats), but those are of no use when actual illness occurs. Determined Weakness – this Obama Administration / Progressive policy “to help” won’t help, it only strips money from one group to give to another and leaves the former naked in terms of usable coverage.
