About those Shaheen Campaign Talking Points…

Shaheen blocks restoring Vet benifitsWMUR has posted some inside baseball on the tactics of the Shaheen Campaign now that Scott Brown is officially entering the fray.  Well, it’s not really inside baseball, more like store front window shopping for baseballs.  Anyone who walked by and looked in would have know what was going to be ‘for sale’ from Shaheen in 2014.

The first point [Mike] Vlacich [Shaheen’s campaign Manager] wants stressed is: Scott Brown is for Scott Brown.

“Scott Brown’s three-week listening tour has been long on tweeted selfies at Granite State landmarks and negative attacks against Jeanne Shaheen, but hasn’t included much about New Hampshire,” Vlacich wrote.

The other points are that Brown still faces a Republican primary, that he has not signed the “People’s Pledge” even though he did in Massachusetts two years ago, that Shaheen, in their minds, has done good work in New Hampshire and that, lastly, “people know and trust Jeanne Shaheen.”

Right out of the gate…I’m not backing Brown in the primary, and I have had plenty to say about this so-called People’s pledge, but since Mikey brought it up, why hasn’t Jeanne Shaheen pointed out that the People’s Pledge comes to her from Massachusetts, not New Hampshire?  Scott Brown from Massachusetts bad, Pledge from Massachusetts good.  Cherry Picking Democrat hypocrite…typical.

And on a related note (and this is just one example), back in 2008 Jeanne Shaheen pledged to the people that we had irresponsible debt and spending, but after being elected she aided and abetted her party and President in nearly doubling that debt in just five years.  Yes, 9 trillion was too much, but adding 8 trillion on top of it in less than one term in the US Senate, seems like a bigger problem than complaining about a pledge from Massachusetts that will do little or nothing to affect outside money or influence pouring into New Hampshire in this race.

Maybe we should call that Jeanne Shaheen’s 8 trillion-dollar Selfie, just for context?  (That’s $8,000,000,000,000.00)

Shaheen pledged to not be a shill to energy companies, but then watched as tens, even hundreds of billions in taxpayer money was funneled to Democrat cronies and flushed down a big green bankruptcy hole, never to return; while she was obstructing (or watching as others obstructed) the development and delivery of cheap, affordable energy–whose development, jobs, and growth would be paid for by energy companies and not taxpayers–to keep our snow blowers running, and our streets plowed, and to keep hard-working American families all across New Hampshire warm, without breaking our budgets, on these bitter cold “global warming induced” winter nights.  Nope.  Shaheen picked the green hole while we pay through our noses for gasoline and oil.

I know she’s paying you to be her campaign manager Mikey, and you live in that blue bubble re-breathing the party bu**sh*t along with all the other progressive bottom-feeders, but if more people ‘knew’ one-percenter Jeanne Shaheen, Mikey, they would not trust her.  She lies.  She lied about the debt and the spending.  She lied about ObamaCare, quite a bit.  Plans, doctors, hospitals, and the cost of ObamaCare has doubled to two trillion according to CBO.  Lies, lies, lies from Shaheen.  She even lied about fixing wage equality.   All that did was make money for her lawyer buddies.

If more people in New Hampshire knew about Jeanne Shaheen, she’d be much worse off than she is now with her paltry 50% approval rating.

Most of the folks you say “know and trust Jeanne Shaheen,” are either drinking Fair Trade latte’s in a Harvard faculty room or just live in Massachusetts–where a lot of her “voters” come from on election day.

I do agree with Mikey on one point.  Scott Brown is for Scott Brown, but no more so than Jeanne Shaheen is for Jeanne Shaheen.   And on that point, Scott Brown has a distinct advantage.  Brown is probably 50% for Shaheen in any given legislative year while Jeanne Shaheen is 99% for Obama.

I noticed she’s not running on that.  The 99% for Obama thing.   Is Shaheen a racist on top of being a liar?
