Well, I “wonder” whose missing from this picture?

This morning, I saw this photograph on the Concord Monitor front page – Governor Maggie Hassan ALL smiles as she signs the legislation that implements Obama’s Medicaid Expansion:

Hassan Signs BradleyCareDemocrat, Democrat, Democrat, Democrat – ringed by all Democrats.  But nary a pixel of any of the real folks that made it happen: NH State Senator Chuck Morse, NH State Senator Jeb Bradley, NH State Senator Bob Odell, or NH State Senator Nancy Stiles.  If it weren’t for these Rogue Republicans, this Democrat Happy Day would not be here.  But it probably will be here again.  Why?

I predict that unless the NH GOP gets their act together and starts to put ANY kind of emphasis on hewing to the NH GOP Party Platform, this picture may well be repeated in a couple of years from now – when legislation is signed that will implement some kind (or several kinds) of a broad-based tax.  After all, with this Democrat led Administration who has already changed the Obamacare Law unilaterally 38 times with re-legislating it, and has already shown that every campaign promise has an expiration date, do you REALLY think that the Feds are going to keep their end of the 100% funding bargain?

The Democrats already know that the Republicans don’t have the political courage to actually let the Expansion lapse in either that case or at the end of three years.  And they don’t have the courage, either, to actually take the present budget, actually prioritize everything in the budget – and let the lower prioritized items roll off the budget bottom.  You know, limited government REQUIRES that kind of steadfastness to make the hard decisions that are needed for that – and they couldn’t even do that for the red-listed bridges and roads.

Instead, they raised taxes.  So I’m supposed to have faith for the future?  A $240 – $350 million / year amount of faith from THIS bunch?
