Democrats passed ObamaCare. They fought for it for most of year, and have defended lied about it ever since. And it is a smoldering, craptastic disaster. This is a bill sold as a way to get coverage for the uninsured, but as with all things democrats do, it actually incentivize people to go without any insurance at all.
Most of the reasons the Left gave for needing this reform were not true to begin with, so was that the plan all along? To promise universal or near universal coverage as cover for driving people out of the insurance market?
“How about we screw young people over so severely that they bail on coverage altogether…oh, uh, after we get them to vote for us.”
You guys are the experts? The smart ones? How could this be a mistake? You wrote the law so this has to be intentional.

Twins. Families with twins can’t sign up. There is no way for the system to handle it.
I don’t think Twins have a lobbyist. They have a picnic. But this is no picnic. So there’s got to be a Democrat political consultant working on a plan to make ‘twins’ the next greatest victim class since the gaystapo. Demographically, they probably represent equal parts of the population. Twins are clearly underrepresented as a minority group. There are people who think they might be twins but are afraid that the culture will ridicule them for expressing these feelings. And now ObamaCare prevents their parent from signing up on the exchanges. Twin Pride day, here we come.

Then there’s the issue with married women who are filing their taxes separately from their husbands because their husbands abuse them. This seems like a bread and butter issue for the gender-gap, war-on-women, axe-grinders on the left. Spousal abuse is to feminazi recruiters as Female Interns are to Bill Clinton. Target Rich Environment.
Despite the progressive narratives the smartest people in America went out of their way to put these abused women in the worst possible position when they decided to ‘reform’ health care. Under ObamaCare these women can’t get subsidies unless they file jointly with their abusive husbands.

Since most abused women who have actually left their abusive spouses are not going to file jointly to get access to subsidies, they are trapped without a way to get federal handouts to help offset the distortions ObamaCare places on the insurance marketplace–also by design.
The bill is written that way, passed into law, and has been left to bureaucrats to figure out because ‘Leaders’ like Jeanne Shaheen are too busy yanking the party money chain to be bothered to represent anyone but MoveOn.org, EMILY’s list, or the most unprepared, disinterested President in US History.
Do you remember when Obama signed the ACA into law. He made a big deal about the world not coming to an end. Talk about irony–that end was in there, it was just delayed.
At this point, while most of what ObamaCare was that we had to have, and could not object to without being called a racist, has since been delayed or waivered by Barry the genius, this was not. So the Treasury department, that scion of health care regulatory prowess, has decided it will just ignore that part of the law in those circumstances. Barry sets a “good” example. Note to those married and filing separately for any other reason…the law will be applied to you as written.
This isn’t even a law anymore. It is lawless. That state where there is no defining framework, no boundary, and most importantly no way for any person, business, municipality, or state to know if and to what extent it is operating in or outside the law.
This is all the Democrats fault. And they are still defending it even though it is doing exactly the opposite of just about everything they were told to promise us it would do. And not for nothing, but the TEA party was right everywhere the Democrats were wrong, which explains why they hate the TEA Party so much. Well, Democrats were told to hate the TEA Party. It was because we were right and the talking points were the lies.
I don’t expect you to believe me, but that applies to Global Warming and just about everything else the left has been peddling as truth. It’s all BS. Well funded BS, but then the rich people with all the money, and the big businesses that want to stay in business, always want to make sure they are in with the tyrants when liberty has its final curtain call.
As for Shaheen, and Shea-Porter, and Kuster, I have said it many times. Democrats do not leave the Granite State and go to DC to represent New Hampshire. (Why would they, they never represented New Hampshire when they were here.) They go to negotiate the terms of our surrender to the Democrat parties Federal government-first agenda.
ObamaCare is just such a surrender.
