Just a Taste of GrokTALK!? We’ve Got New Ways to Listen

We have great conversations on local and national topics every week, but we realize that the idea of committing to a two-hour show, or even just a 30 minute segment, might seem daunting.  That was part of the motivation behind adding iTunes, iHeart Radio, Spreaker, TuneIn, and Stitcher.   If you’ve got a mobile device you can download or listen in the car, during the commute, whenever you’ve got time.  But even that might not be enough of an incentive, so we’re bringing a new ways to listen, and planning a new feature as well.

First, we’ve got GrokSHOTS!, short segments from the weekly show that are just two or three minutes in length.  These are selected to give your ears a ‘taste’ of topics or opinions of the hosts or guests.  If you like them listen to the entire segment to see what else was said.

Here are two examples from this weeks show…
Jeb Bradley and the NHGOP Should have Done This differently – 180 sec.

Phil Kerpen – Why ObmaCare and Medicaid Expansion Will Make Emergency Rooms more Crowded – 94 sec.

The Second is GrokTALKS!, still in development.  (Yes, I am open to giving it a different name.)  Think TED talks, or Prager U on no budget.   These will be short videos, three to five minutes, barebones videos on a specific topic or issue, delivered in an easily digestible length.  (H/T – to  Carla and Ian with FSP for the idea.)

We’ll be looking for volunteers interested in promoting their point or issue, accepting submissions, or scheduling you to come make your case for our cameras, so stay tuned.

GrokTALK! is also available on iTunes, iHeart Radio, Spreaker, TuneIn, or Stitcher
