Hugely disappointing that we didn’t see THIS version of Rick Perry on the campaign trail in 2012, because he’d be president Perry today. I was at CPAC 2012, where the Texan delegates greeted him like a rock star – watch this video, and see if you disagree.

The real problem in 2012 was that Perry wasn’t ready to leave the state house, he’d just had back surgery and was on strong painkillers, and it was his wife’s ambition driving the campaign. Listen to Perry 2014 (2016?), and ask if THIS guy has any doubts about what parts of the Federal government he’d close down!
