If Everyone Worked for the Government Who Would Pay The Salaries?

empty cash registerFor those not so good at the math, if everyone ‘worked’ for the government there would be nothing to tax to pay anyone. And by ‘worked’ we can mean employed or on the payroll of–as in living off money provided solely by the state.

If everyone relied on government for their means they would have no means.  There would be no ‘means.’ No one would earn anything.  This is important, because far too many people (most of them Democrats) fail to understand this.

Without private, productive wealth, government cannot exist.

The more government there is the less there is for government to take, and that’s a two-pronged problem.  First, the basic math itself; more hands in the cookie jar means fewer cookies.  Second; the very existence of more government disincentivizes the kind of productivity needed to put cookies in the jar in the first place.  The end result is that as government gets bigger it not only clear-cuts the very resource it needs to maintain its own existence it also retards regrowth, setting itself on a course to its own collapse.

The fact that there is an entire political party committed to this collapse (Democrats) sounds ridiculous.  The fact Democrats continue to have a majority hold on power as they execute this destruction is absurd.   And the fact that there is an entire controlling faction in the Republican party that is happy to assist in whatever capacity a long as it retains a presence in the new ruling class aristocracy is tragic.

We must remove the Democrats from power.  They will never be convinced or deterred because they intend to profit from it for as long as they can.

Republicans might still be convinced, but I suspect, after we remove the Democrats, we will need to remove the Republicans as well.

But first things first.
