Note on HR 24 from the House Calendar

HR 24, urging Congress to investigate the Benghazi incident. MAJORITY: INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE. MINORITY: OUGHT TO PASS.

Rep. Robert L Theberge for the Majority of State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs. The majority believes that the Benghazi incident will be an ongoing issue for which any solution would not be welcomed by an opposing political party. The investigation is ongoing by the federal government for which no further action by the House is warranted. Vote 10-2.

Rep. Todd P Smith for the Minority of State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs. The minority believes that the issues relating to Benghazi needs to have a comprehensive exploration of exactly what occurred.
