Blog Truth of the Day – It was exactly as we thought

Obamacare -Year of the SnakeOne of the key architects of the law, Ezekiel Emanuel, has been starting to dish the inside scoop on how ObamaCare was put together, because he has a book to flog. Usually, this sort of thing is supposed to happen only years after the law takes effect, but that might be “never,” given the administration’s habit of deferring the law’s key provisions year after year. So the insiders’ books are going to come out first, and they’re going to start saying some unexpectedly honest things about the law’s purpose.

Emanuel gives us one big answer to our question. What was the point of ObamaCare, if not to insure the uninsured? To destroy the insurance companies….

Well, it’s not like we haven’t already figured this out already.  Progressives hate capitalism and hate profit making so Obamacare is really at least a three-fer for them:

  • destroy the people that suck money from the sick and ill
  • As good Socialists, the ability for Government to be in control instead of the private sector
  • People Control (because we know better what’s best for “the people” than “the people” do).

This is what I hate about Progresives – they just can’t level with us and tell the truth from the get go.  Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel’s (former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm “never waste a crisis” Emanuel’s brother) new book finally confirms what we on the Right pretty much figured from the start but the Left just couldn’t campaign on it.  Never would they run on the bare truth – they’d never win.  Such a dodge that they claimed this was all about insuring the uninsured – as we have now seen, even the uninsured are running away from Obamacare.  That’s right, for 10-15% of the population that was uninsured, Progressive blowhards like Emanuel think they have the right to upturn a system that worked for the 85% of the rest of us.  But, that’s Progressivism for you – they know better and ALWAYS stick to the meme that “the end justifies ANY means”.
