Obligatory ‘Democrats’ Less Likely to Know Earth Revolves Around the Sun Post.

solar-system-670x440-130502Less likely than me, at least.

I took a quick shot at this here, but more details are out so it deserves a second look.

We knew Tea Party types were better at science, and then again–thanks to a Liberal Yale Professor, so this is not at all surprising.   New Research indicates the more Conservative you are the less likely you are to believe that astrology is actual science. (HotAir has an extensive breakdown of the data if you are that interested.)

But it gets better.  (Can you imagine?)

When it comes to the survey results on whether the sun goes around the earth or vice versa, Moderate and Liberal Republicans are dumber than Democrats.  And that does not surprise me in the least.  In fact, I can think of quite a few Senate Republicans in New Hampshire who have not yet realized that if they vote for SB 413  to expand Medicaid in NH, the energy to repeal and replace them might exceed that of the big glowing  gas ball.  (No, not Jeb Bradley–he orbits the lobbyists.)

Here.  Let me put it this way.  “If you like your NH State Senate Seat, you can keep your NH State Senate seat.” I think that’s called Dramatic Irony.

Liberals don’t score that badly on this question, to be fair, but Conservatives win by a nose, which is less important than this.   The progressives have been running the K through forever education monopoly for what, 50, 75 years?  We’ve dumped a fortune into public education and taxpayer propped up universities.  And yet a significant number of people, icnluding those who couldn’t add themselves to the 67 percenters, can’t get this question right?

It’s embarrassing.  The progressive public education experiment is an expensive failure.
