Londonderry Voters: James "Doc" Marron III for State Rep - Granite Grok

Londonderry Voters: James “Doc” Marron III for State Rep

“Uncommon valor was a common virtue.” —Chester W. Nimitz

Lower Left: James “Doc” Marron III

James “Doc” Marron III has made it clear that he is running for the New Hampshire House. Would it not be great to send Doc Marron to Concord, working side by side with Al Baldasaro? This simply needs to be done.

Juxtaposed by the present representation by Lisa Whittemore, arguably one of the most liberal progressive members of the current house delegation from Londonderry New Hampshire. It happens; They do slip by. More importantly, though,  Whittemore has  not only supported, but advocated for every leftist policy and measure coming from outside the Granite State…and make no mistake about it, that is from where they come. She clearly is a darling of the left.

Everything from guns, medicaid and over burdensome labeling requirements for the food we buy, Whittemore has been on the front lines, leading the charge. Under all the muddled and confusing platitudes, is advocacy of bigger more expensive and expansive Granite State government. Advocacy for a nanny state more similar to Massachusetts.

If there is a contingent of Kool-Aid Slurping, Liberty-restricting liberals huddled about, be certain that Representative Whittemore is not to far away with her “kumbayah” drum and scented candle. The time is now for it to end.

If you know nothing else about James “Doc” Marron III, do know this. First and foremost, he has some real “skin in the game”…literally! A Veteran of the U.S. Navy as a U.S. Marine Combat Corpsman (pronounced “Cor-man, NOT  Corpse man”, Obummer) who served with an active combat unit, himself being wounded and tested under fire. “Skin in the game.”

Ours is an all-volunteer military and people can simply choose not to do such things. Those who do, however, are separate from the rest in what they are willing to offer up of themselves, full well knowing the risks. Can Lisa Whittemore say the same?

Our Republic is on a downward slide toward a repressive progressive state. Doc Marron didn’t put his ass on the line for that. He put himself out there for the ideals of America as a constitutional Republic where free Americans live and for the great nation this is.

Granted, I cannot vote for Doc Marron because I do not live in the District. But I would not have to think about it if I could. And I can certainly write these blogs to give his campaign a boost. Some might even say that being a veteran of the USMC, I am biased. Indeed I am. But in the larger context I also know the values and traditions of not only Doc Marron, but others I have chewed dirt with like him.

I can hear it all now…From the Kool-Aid Slurpers: “A vote for Marron is a vote for the Extremist Tea Party Right Wing.” This is a tired old worn out line…the quacking of sick anemic ducks.  So put it to a test: Does Whittemores’ policies impinge, restrict or take something away from Granite Staters? If one is honest, the answer is a resounding yes. Will Representative Marron advocate for that which  impinges, restricts or removes something from the people. Nope! And don’t think the “Devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know,” because Whittemore surprised us all.

Time to pony up, Londonderry and right the ship of citizen governance. Send Doc Marron to Concord. Remember, too much mothering in government equals too much smothering in liberty. Fight the trend vote for Doc Marron.
