Tell Me One More Time… When Does Life Begin?

If every woman exercised the “right” to have an abortion, what would happen?  Our species would cease to exist.  Our life would end on this planet.  There would be no more people.  No more human life.

And it wouldn’t make any difference if these abortions occurred at 20 weeks, 10 weeks, “the day after” with the use of a chemical abortificient, or if they were live birth abortions.  You could terminate every pregnancy at any point after conception, and the people who were alive would be the last generation of human beings walking the earth.

No. More. Human Beings.  (Environmentalist whackos are applauding, I can hear them.)

So tell me one more time?  When does life begin?

The correct answer is…at conception.  Life begins at conception.

Not yet convinced?

Pretend you are a scientist.  No, not a global-warming-climate-change-hide the decline-blacklist-opposing-opinion-cooling-is-actually-warming-scientist, I mean an actual scientist.  Now imagine that you want to create life.  How would you do it?  Where would you start?

Whether you are cloning sheep or making people if you wanted to make a life, you would start at the same place moms and dads start.  We start there because there is no other place to start.  Whether in a womb or in a dish and then a womb, you’d start at the beginning.

No one starts at ten weeks, or twenty weeks, or even 40 weeks–i never even occurs to them to start creating life at any other point, but conception because there is no other point at which to start a life.

So if life cannot be created except at conception, then anything that happens after conception terminates that life.

You can call it something else.  You can pretend this is not true.  You can deny it, scream about it, name-call, throw things, or even cry, but the only reason we can recall having our lives at all–even lives during which we make excuses for abortion so we can avoid the responsibility that comes with having as much sex as we want–is because our mothers did not or could not abort us.

We were conceived, and lived to tell the tale.

If every conception were aborted, after those of us who were not aborted died, there would be no more human life.

So tell me one more time?  When does life begin?
