Our Recovery Is So Good…We Demand You Extend Unemployment Benefits

Unemployment went down but the line isn't getting shorterSnow and cold are a sign of global warming.   Income is a sign that you don’t pay enough taxes–unless you are a Democrat or in entertainment.  Opposition is a sign that you are a racist, a misognyst hater unless you oppose self-responsibility, affordable government, and low taxes (Republicans, or the TEA Party).   The Affordable Care Act costs more and is less accessible–meaning less care (leaving us with nothing but the act.)   And demanding an extension for unemployment benefitsis a sign of your amazing economic recovery.

Democrats are looking to extend unemployment benefits, again. Why?

Because when Democrats run things, and run them for as long as they have, good paying American jobs are like Bigfoot.  People talk about it.  They want to believe in it. And a few people actually claim to have seen one.  But most everyone else thinks it is a hoax.

There are over three-quarters of a million Americans who have given up looking for work and the U6 unemployment rate is still over 11%.

Here in New Hampshire, When Senator Shaheen took office,  in the midst of the worst recession in history™, NH’s U6 was 8.7 percent.  (U6 includes discouraged workers who have given up looking and those trapped in part time jobs because they can’t find full tie work.)

New Hampshire’s Average U6 after five years of Jeanne Shaheen and her Democrat Recovery is 11 percent.

All that money spent on Recovery, jobs, clunkers, the massive expansion of the Federal budget–at the expense of state and local budgets, as well as our own pocketbooks and bank accounts–added 7 trillion dollars onto what was advertised in the 2008 campaign as irresponsible and unsustainable.

You know what is unsustainable?  America under Democrat leadership by Democrats who treat you like their personal ATM machine while  intentionally harpooning the job market year after year.

What’s that?  You don’t think it was intentional?  You believe they were handed a bill of goods and it’s not their fault?

Since Obama was elected Democrats have spent enough to invade and then run Iraq again (based on what GWB spent), at least 14  times.

What do we have to show for it?  A redistribution of wealth from the states to Washington, DC; Washington is rich, as are the Democrats and lobbyists who run it.  Their answer to chronic joblessness is the same as it always was.  They are demanding another extension of unemployment benefits.

This is not another temporary measure with assurances that it will give them time to “fix” the economy and create good jobs.  Part-time nation is the best they can do.  Joblessness, and detachment from the work force is their ‘fix.’   They want to keep people trapped and dependent on the government indefinitely.

Or are Democrats like Jeanne Shaheen just incompetent and incapable of anything else?
