Oh, and By The Way, Andrew Hemingway Is Probably Running For Governor of NH

Andrew HemingwayThe Union Leader has already reported this, so why should we wait.

Bristol high-tech entrepreneur and conservative activist Andrew Hemingway will announce his candidacy at an event in Manchester, a source close to Hemingway’s fledgling campaign told the New Hampshire Union Leader.

Hemingway, 31, will make the announcement at a “Solutions First” rally at The Yard Restaurant at 7 p.m., an event organized by a “Draft Hemingway” political action committee that organized about a month ago.

He is expected to file paperwork organizing a campaign committee on Friday.

I guess that Draft Andrew Hemingway for Governor thing worked then?

GraniteGrok will be reporting from Andrew’s Solutions First Rally tonight in Manchester and with any luck we will be live streaming as well as recording for those who cannot make it, and for the Democrat trackers who might not have been able to sneak in.

“Join Andrew as he discusses how innovative, solution-based ideas will allow New Hampshire citizens to live free. There will be appetizers, a cash bar, and live music.”

Should be fun and informative.

I do have to ask the obvious question before I close. Now that we have a Republican candidate the establishment might won’t be in love with, running against a very weak Democrat opponent, will there be a dash to file a moderate and then some faux-conservative to make sure the moderate wins a primary and loses the general, or will the NH-GOP count themselves lucky and come together behind one candidate from now until November?
