I’ve Been Saying This All Along

I’ve been saying this all along.  Democrats are the primary cause of gun related homicide in the US.

“…, the precincts that gave President Obama more than 90% of the vote contained 13% of the Louisiana population and almost 56% of the firearm homicides. The resulting firearm homicide rate was 33.4 per 100,000 people; a level only seen in the most violent third-world countries. In contrast, the firearm homicide rate per 100,000 people for the precincts that gave President Obama less than 50% of the vote was 2.5, 1.0, and 0.4 for Louisiana, Virginia, and Minnesota, respectively.”

“The majority of firearm homicides in Louisiana, Virginia, and Minnesota occurred in the small fraction of precincts that contains concentrated Democrat voters. If one’s goal is to reduce firearm homicides, then does it make more sense to spend time, money, and political capital to restrict everyone’s Constitutional rights when the majority of the problem is restricted to a small subset of the population? A more effective approach would address the root causes of the culture of violence that appears to exist in these localized areas.”

There are plenty of charts and graphs and a promise of more data crunching to come.
But I came to this conclusion long ago without all the math that David Waciski at American Thinker used.
Democrats support policies that create a culture of often unmarried single parent families, where crime often appears to be only method of attaining any kind of upward mobility, while simultaneously disarming all the law abiding citizens.   The result of such a mix of circumstances results in not just more homicides but more robberies, muggings, burglaries, rapes, violent assaults, property damage, vandalism, domestic abuse, drug addiction, and all manner of bad behavior that human beings are heir to.
This is statistically evident everywhere Democrats hold any sort of majority–and it gets exponentially worse the longer they retain control–which is why the wealthy ones always live someplace else, far enough away, or secure enough behind secured doors and armed guards, who will never be subject to the mayhem they create for the rest of us.
