Communism is The Answer – “It’s Settled Science!”

Global Warming has never been about warming.  It is a scheme to use “energy” and the environment to direct behavior toward a socialist system of central planning, even if that “system” is contrary to the stated objective of climate alarmism.

If you need proof of that take a look at this.

United Nations climate chief Christiana Figueres said that democracy is a poor political system for fighting global warming. Communist China, she says, is the best model.

China may be the world’s top emitter of carbon dioxide and struggling with major pollution problems of their own, but the country is “doing it right” when it comes to fighting global warming says Figueres.

I challenge anyone, with a straight face, to explain how communist countries are cleaner and better for the planet–environmentally–than the United States or even the semi-socialist western Democracies in Western Europe.  You can’t.  So the goal is communism–or something like it–even though it is also the fastest way to ruin the planet.

The Wall Street Journal notes that China’s air quality was so bad that about “1.2 million people died prematurely in China in 2010 as a result of air pollution” and Chinese government figures show that “lung cancer is now the leading cause of death from malignant tumors. Many of those dying are nonsmokers.”

The Soviet bloc’s environmental track record was similarly dismal.

In the west, you can blame people who do wrong, charge them based on the rule of law, and seek action or restitution.  In a communist/socialist/Progressive country, no one can be charged except for show because the bureaucracy itself is beyond punishment and no one really owns anything.  The state can make some noises, shuffle some papers, point a few fingers, promise to look into it, (add more bureaucracy as a white wash show of action) but in the end nothing ever changes.

China’s biggest accomplishment may be becoming the dirtiest place on earth, a distinction it would have had to wrest from Russia to achieve.

So what we have here, thanks to the UN Climate Tsar, is an admission of the goal of climate change.   A socialist world order, managed by central planners, who direct resources as they see fit.   A message we can see on a smaller scale, locally through the Granite State Futures and sustainable development programs whose focus is to whittle away at the property rights that interfere with the command and control structure that a socialist system requires.   They need to control you, your children,  your diet, your health, your air, water, all the energy, where you live, how you travel,  and how it all relates of interacts with what you think you own which is nothing.  When you no longer get to decide any of those things the outdated notion of property ownership is an indulgence of the state reserved for the ruling class.
