Blogline of the Day – because Republican support of Amnesty may have predictable results

If the GOP wants to jumpstart a National 3rd Party movement for Conservatives. . . . “Because as Presidents Romney & McCain not to mention Senator Brown can tell you, there is no precedent for the base staying home in a critical election when the leadership pisses them off.”

Glenn Reynolds + DaTechGuy (Pete Ingemi)

illegal alien signPete has a nice line about US Senator Gabriel Gomez (R-MA-Hispanica) as well.  Remember, as far as importance to the American people are concerned, immigration rates…..12th of 14 topics.  And if the rumors of House Speaker Boehner (R/Stupid Party) bringing Amnesty to the fore are true, he won’t even be able to be Minority Leader, will he?

The TEA Party enthusiasm, motivation, and work propelled the Republicans to majorities in State Houses and the US House in 2010.  In 2012, having come under attack from Democrats AND Republicans, they stayed home – and President Romney knows all about it.

Look at what is happening in England where the leaders of the Conservative Party have drifted away from their principles – and UKIP (the Brit TEA Party equivalent, mostly) has taken the electoral results by storm by “going back to basics”.  Here in NH, the Republican pot is coming to a roiling simmer – whether or not it boils over is a function of the answer to the question:

“Is it sufficient to just have an R after your name to be a “good” Republican”?
