Notable Quote – Arthur R. Hogue

The doctrine of the supremacy of law implies that all agencies of government must act upon established principles; even the highest bodies and officials are not permitted to act upon arbitrary will or caprice. The supremacy of law means that all the acts of government agencies are subject to examination in the courts, which are compelled in their turn to follow established procedures, “due process,” and to reach decisions guided not by whim but by generally accepted principles and sound reason.

– Arthur R. Hogue’s vital 1966 tract, Origins of the Common Law

However, what we see from the Obama Administration is exactly that – one violation of The Rule of Law after another.  That willingness to be Lawless is a fundamental transformation of the United States Government – Obama’ and his Administration arbitrary and capricious use of Executive Orders, ignoring of legislated Statutes, and constant changing of regulations to fit political expediencies).

If our Leaders feel that they no longer have to The Rule of Law, then we have entered the Rule of Man – in this case, the Rule of the Strong Man?  And if they feel they no longer must follow The Law, then why should we?

Just asking….
