Martin Bashir is Just the Evolved Version of Democrat Peter Sullivan

MSNBC has forced out the serially offensive progressive talking head Martin Bashir, who “resigned” after a meeting with is boss.  Bashir read remarks on the air three weeks previously in which he suggested that someone needed to defecate in Sarah Palin’s mouth; just the latest in a long line of insults against Palin and his serial obsession with the objectification of women.

This is instructive because Bashir is what happens when you let a Democrat like Peter Sullivan go unpunished for off-hand politically driven sexist and insulting public remarks toward women.

The left has a hair-trigger for any outrage real or imagined when it serves to advance one of their contrived political narratives but they are loathe to apply those rules equally to their own becasue they view attacks on Republicans as way to advance their political agenda.

But this inability to police their own hypocrisy produces a culture within the progressive and Democrat camps that encourages intimidation, bullying, hate speech, and the types of sexist objectification they insist they defend people from–so it’s actually OK as long as it is directed at the right people.

This blatant hypocrisy about bigotry and hate directed at women, gays,  minorities, Christians, anyone who disagree with Democrats politically, is merely a modern day extension of the Democrat parties  intolerant segregationist past where power was always more important than personal, individual, civil, even natural human rights of others.  Where they once used that power to justify slavery, they now use it to justify a pattern of abuse against anyone who does not bow before their false gods and their dogmatic sociopolitical dogma.

New Hampshire Democrat Peter Sullivan is not the only, nor the worst example, he is merely the most recent.  But if the women in the New Hampshire Democrat Party (or even the men if there are any real men in the New Hampshire Democrat party) cannot bring themselves to denounce this kind of behavior from one of their own, and do so loudly an publicly, they are only encouraging it until Sullivan or some other Democrat is emboldened to do something far more hurtful or offensive.
