Left in Extremis

Democrats make emotional proclamations about who hold views outside the mainstream of American thought.  (Hint – it is always those who pose any threat to their political power.)  If you do not agree with them you are an extremist and having a majority control of the media and entertainment allows them to get away with this.

What is an extreme view according to the left?  Thinking that you own the property you work to earn.  It is their opinion that income and property exist because they let it exist.  You didn’t build it, you didn’t earn it, unless you vote Democrat, and then there might be a waiver as long as you are on good behaviour.

Abortion is another issue where anyone who disagrees with the left is out in left field–or is that right field?  Once again, nothing could be further from the truth.

Democrats like New Hampshire’s Jeanne Shaheen, Ann Kuster, and Carol Shea-Porter, support abortion from conception to live birth abortion.  What Kermit Gosnell did to babies after they were born is ‘main stream’ to these women and Democrats everywhere.  In fact, some of them receive large sums of money from some very special interests to ensure that what Gosnell got caught doing not only continues uninterrupted, preferably without camera’s or public trials, but is made the norm.

But America does not agree with them.   Most Americans (8 out of 10) do not support abortion in the third trimester.  Approximately 7 out of 10 do not support it in the second trimester.   They do not think abortion should be illegal altogether, but after 13 weeks growing numbers do not support it and they would use legal force to prevent it.

When you control the media and entertainment what 70-80% of American’s think can be sold as extremist.

Seven out of ten Americans support a 24 hour waiting period prior to an abortion.  Seven out of ten Americans support parental consent for minors.  Almost 9 out of 10 favour a law requiring providers to explain risks of the procedure before hand.  Seven out of ten think a husband has the right to be notified if his wife seeks an abortion.  And 86% believe there should be a law requiring abortion providers to explain alternatives to abortion before the procedure

When an average of 80 to 90 percent of the people disagree with you the people who hold these opinion are not the extremists.

One other point.  While a majority of Americans object to abortion after the first trimester they do not demand that their candidates always agree with them.  Democrats it appears, are extremists about that as well.
