The stories are going to come out hard and fast. Sure, low income folks are going to get “such a deal”. The dirty secret that Senator Jeanne Shaheen and CongressCritters Annie Kuster and Carol Shea-Porter won’t outright amplify is that the only way that the Obamacare plans are “affordable” are the federal tax funded subsidies. “SURE, you can find a low cost plan- using other peoples’ money!” – how often do these three Socialists honestly say:
“because we’re taking it away from other families to give to you“
Yeah, I thought so. So, it’s great for those at the bottom, OK for those at the top – and the vaunted Middle Class that these three liars always say that are “fighting for” have been now screwed over by these same totalitarians. They’ve all voted for this Papa Oscar Sierra several times each, one way or another, and the outcome result is the same: Yuck Fou, Middle Class? Now we have folks’s stories of those that Obama has decided “they don’t matter to Democrats”. Yes, three from Fox News tonight:
- Betsey Tanner – her current plan ($454 / month) was dropped because it failed the Obama demanded maternity care. Yeah, that fits her so well – she’s 52 (her son is 24). Replacement was $871 – absolutely unaffordable. Healthcare.gov merely put the screws to her: $541/month and a deductible of $12,700. Obama and the Democrats trio (Shaheen, Kuster, and Shea-Porter) are forcing her to pick: housing, food, or insurance. She’ll go “naked:
“My Federal tax dollars will fund President Obama’s insurance plan, but yet he’s going to fine me and penalize me for something that I cannot afford to buy. It makes me very angry.”
- K. Joiner – single guy, his plan go upped by $400 / month. Healthcare.gov had a lower premuim but a MUCH higher deductible. He, too, has made the realization that he cannot afford that, and the decision to “go naked”.
- Steven Curry – current plan was also dropped and has found nothing . nothing to replace it that is affordable for him.
But Obama has said “Go on the website – get a lower premium with better coverage!” Like I said above – only the really poor will get the subsidies. Make above the limit and you might as well have a video of Seinfeld’s Soup Nazi screaming “NO SUBSIDY FOR YOU – GO AWAY!”. These are the people in the Middle Class that these three NH Progressives don’t care about – that not only are they forcing these three into anxiety attacks, they deliberately put them into this situation. Here are three upstanding Citizens, all who have worked hard to achieve the American Dream and were self-sufficient – and they were responsible enough to pay for their own healthcare. Now?
They are in the situation that their tax dollars are supporting the poor’s needs – and they are left out in the cold themselves.
This is what happens when power hungry / power greedy politicians like Shaheen, Kuster, and Shea-Porter decide that they have the right, the opportunity, and the obligation to rearrange everybody else’s lives – simply because they are Smarter than us dumb people who can’t even make a decision that could get us out of paper bag if we fell into one. Bless you, for your so AWESOMENESS of benevolence, oh Queens! What would we EVAH do without your Big Government “taking care” of us in every aspect of our lives??
No, this is when a Redistributionist, out of control, Government decides that it doesn’t care about those from whom it takes to give to others! This is the EXACT situation that Conservatives have feared for decades as Government took more and more and more – that tipping point where the Redistribution takes too much that the Fleeced are worse off than the Hammocked Residents. Up to know, most of the grousing can be heard in anecdotes from the grocery stores “Hey, how come my taxes are funding those EBT shoppers – and how come they can buy stuff I can’t afford!!” Good going, Democrats – your law (and you own it, lock, stock, and barrel – No Republican voted for this and NO Republican has been for this – and no Constitutionally value based person will give up the fight to keep us from going completely Socialist (even as we are almost all there)) is really showing your values – screw people if they get in our Progressive March to Utopia.
Don’t give me this crap that the number of people is so small, that we stupid people are to believe “that’s OK, we can just ignore these 19 million people and their needs” – just like their Party Head and his Left Hand “What does it matter anyways?” Gal-pal ignore the cries for help of their subordinates in Benghazi. Just “collateral damage” on the way “FORWARD!” to the Progressive Utopia you’ve all promised? Yes, I’m going to say it – we’ve seen these Marches before – those percentages, relative to their country’s populations, were relatively low too. So what if those folks, forced by Obamacare to go “Insurance Naked”, now come down sick – do we get to create the commercial showing you three pushing the caskets off the cliff (as your Party showed Paul Ryan pushing Granny-in-the-wheelchair off one)? Will we get the opportunity to say:
The Party of Big Government killed these people – their blood will be on your hands forever!
Over the top? Certainly not when I listen to your fellow Democrat in the Congress, Democrat Floridian Alan Grayson, or even Senator Harry Reid. But all three of you are trying to run away from the Democrat-only law; don’t worry, we’re chasing you.
