First for Ted Cruz, now for Mike Lee? How DARE those crowds react that way!

Another skirmish in the Establishment – grassroots Civil War.  I point out that while the DC Establishment is now out to crush those of us that pose a risk to their power, outside the beltway, those that are drawing their ire are hardly getting the cold shoulder from those that “brung them to the dance.”  First, Ted Cruz goes back to Texas and gets an 8 minute standing O from the Texas Federation of Republican Women.  Now, Mike Lee gets a 10 minute O from his Utah constituents:

How often, lately, have you seen this kind of reception for ANY Republican office holder?? It can be rather easy – but only if you have the guts.  He (and Cruz) ran on doing one singular job – fight like heck for Principles. His constituents sent him to do a job. Mike Lee and Ted Cruz kept their promises and did what they promised.  Their constituents have kept their promise to them – protect us, and we will protect you; “we’ll have your back”.  Above shows they are doing just that. Betcha NH’s Republican former Congressman Frank

I was sent to Washington to restrain spending and exert some fiscal discipline Guinta sees this and cringes – he coulda had the same thing.  As I wrote back in 2011:

We expected Congressional life in DC to be hard.  We expected it to be a pressure cooker for you like most of us cannot imagine (with all those hands and pleas and yells to give people money that used to be other peoples’).  We expect that you would be surrounded not only by the Progressives (typified here in NH by Zandra Rice-Hawkins).  We expected, being a TEA Party backed candidate, that the DC Establishment (especially the Repub kind) were going to rub their hands in glee as they joyfully said “ah, new red meat to grind up and mold OUR way.”

We expected you to lead.  Really, we did.  And do. We sent you because of your fiscal promises to cut the spending and cut the size of government.  And to it quickly.  We believed you.

I have said since Nov 2 that we had to watch your backside and protect it from the Progressives and Establishment types, with pikes.  Like these guys (<—-).

I also said that we would hold you accountable – that those pikes might be pointed at your backside.  You said “Please do“.

“Please do” – so, we did.  The Object Lesson that just keeps on illustrating.  And now, Ted and Mike are showing Mr. Guinta what he could have had – and threw it away.

Quick Observation: At the end of this video, the crowd starts chanting something that I have NEVER EVER heard at a rally held for an Establishment Republican.  Let’s see, the latest one here in NH that I went to – or COULD have gone to?  Oh yeah, Ray Burton’s.

Since I didn’t go, did ANY of the NH GOPpers at the rally for Ray Burton chant “Freedom!  Freedom! Freedom!” in his honor?

Naw, didn’t think so.
