In the spirit of bipartisanship and brotherly love, I’d like to offer some advice to Democrats who are feeling the heat over ObamaCare policy cancellations, and are wondering just what it will take to stay in office.
My advice is gratis, of course, like the advice that they so frequently provide to Republicans about how to appease this or that voter bloc and mythically increase GOP chances of ever again winning the senate or presidency……
Ladies and gentlemen of the Democrat party, listen up: Your president lied to all of us. He has destroyed access to healthcare for a vast number of the people who really care and always vote: the middle-aged and the retired. He has pissed off most of the younger generation with premiums so high that they just won’t bother to enroll, in spite of the fines.
Those middle-class, middle-aged and retired groups are ALL, repeat ALL, going to vote your asses out of office next year, and those millennials are going to seriously rethink their future party alliance (remember the graduate who said that Obama had ‘raped her future’).
You’ve got a lot of people to appease and there’s not much time. It needs hard work, guts, determination, and sacrifice, HUMAN SACRIFICE! But hey, if it’s your hide vs the would-be emperor’s increasingly transparent garments, perhaps you can bring yourself to do the right thing for the country (and yourselves**):
IMPEACH THE *BASTARD!!
(* Not an insult, but a statement of high probability!)
(** I don’t guarantee you will keep your seats, but we might just leave the tar and feathers at home!)
Come on Dems: you know it’s your survival or his – save your hides and live to fight another day!
