Shutdown Opportunity….Democrats Work Hard To Show You Where You Can Eliminate Federal Influence

The White Mountains of New Hampshire are part of a National Park but it appears that this park is still open and operating (Too big to put barricades around, perhaps?) despite the Democrat’s “create-ways-to-make-it-hurt” fever for the flavor of a shutdown. (Tastes bitter, doesn’t it?)

News Nicht (I mean Nine)

There are few signs of the federal government shutdown, but some locations where visitors could get help are closed.

“Largely it’s the federal employees that work for the White Mountains National Forest who will be seeing the effect, and they are being laid off and furloughed for the time being,” said Cheryl Reardon of the White Mountains Visitor Association.

I have a simple conservative solution to this so-called “problem.”

First, the effects of the ‘shutdown,’ real, forced, or just imagined, serve as red flags waving across the state to which every one should look.  No, not to make some over-emotional, cry-baby, OMG! I can’t live without the frikkin Federal government appeal; look and see where we need to “repair or replace” people, materials, or resources so that in the future we will be less at the mercy of the festival of fools down in DC.

This rule should be applied everywhere in the State, heck–the whole nation–wherever Federal Employees are shown to affect any truly meaningful and necessary function.

Adults, parents, should look at what places and services are being affected and exercise free market power to seek alternatives.

Anyone who actually needs the bankrupt Federal Government to provide services to you or your family has made a bad business decision and is destined to disappoint.  Call it a bad management.  No one with any sense would rely on a corrupt and bankrupt institution for the means to serve you or your needs.  Cut the cord before the government cuts theirs and yours becasue you made the mistake of using a third party rent seeker for services that used to be provided more ably in non-profit and private sector organizations that did not have to beg and plead to un-elected bureaucrats to scrounge up support to stay 100% operational.

The Democrats (media) and public unions have used the shutdown to engage in a deliberate effort to make regular Americans feel the abusive influence and power of the Federal tyrants so put that information to good use.   If the statists have tried to barricade it, block it, or over-advertise its shutdown incapacity for political gain, we need to change how that service is run or funded in our state.

Dependence is for whiners and weaklings and failure is always an option.  Cut the cord Francis.  If the public really needs it the state or some private group will rush to fill the void, do it better, faster, more cheaply, and with responsible people closer to those who pay for or use it.

The Federal Government is a poorly run Ponzi-Scheme.  The shutdown is a sign of how you might (at least) begin to limit future impact from a Federal implosion that is almost impossible to avoid.   Anticipate, eliminate, alleviate.

Ignore this gift at your won peril.
