‘Relative to Seizure of Firearms….’

"We've decided you are an imminent threat...."
“We’ve decided you are an imminent threat….”

The same state government that claims it can determine intent when it comes to domicile, see also every OFA college kid who parachuted in, voted here, and immediately left after the election (some from the homes of emloyees of the AG’s Office) is now looking for the authority to guess the intent of anyone who owns or possesses a firearm so that they might then seize that weapon…based on their “perception” of imminent risk.

2014-H-2400-R title: relative to seizure of firearms of a person posing a risk of imminent personal injury to self or others.
Sponsors: (Prime)Wendy Piper

We don’t have the exact text from Democrat Rep Wendy Piper but it includes six five words (I added a “the” that wasn’t there) that likely make her (or any other progressive for that matter) swoon;  ‘relative to seizure of firearms…

She’s probably showing it around Dartmouth College, where I beleive she works, to praise and adulation.  Variations of the LSR’s title are no doubt making the rounds at all the modern-day equivalant beatnik bistros, smokeless bean-houses, and green-energy organic dive-bars, where it is currently the most popular haiku.

So why is giving government arbitray power such a bad idea?

Piper and the NH Democrats love, defend, and emulate the same guy (Obama) who thought he could get away with shutting down the Amber Alert site, kicking people out of their homes, and barricading open air monuments, parks, and open ocean… to make it hurt; but you can trust them with something as arbitrary as the words “risk of imminent….” They promise not to be nearly as arbitrary as the IRS.  Nothing to fear.  Just move along ‘Gun lovers.’

If you’d like to ‘Reach Out’ to Rep Piper to share your Haiku, or, perhaps some other thoughts… her home phone is 632.7179; office phone 646-1340; she lives in Enfield.
