Don’t You Just Love It When A Health Care Plan “Comes Together?”

It is not about state spending, Healthy states are about libertyDemocrats wanted the Affordable Care Act.  No elected official knew what was in it but they had talking points.  Keep your doctor.  Lower premiums.  Won’t raise the deficit or debt.  Care and access for everyone.  You’ll breeze in and out, health care in hand, doves fly, balloons drift skyward, not a care in the world the Democrats are on it. It’ll be fast and easy, like BamaShite through a Goose.

What we got was more like Jimmy Carter rescuing Embassy Hostages.

The Affordable Care Act galvanized the Tea Party immediately after its rise against the stimul-less.  They rightly observed that none of the good points echoed by the left or repeated by the media were scientifically possible–economics is after all a science, and tea partiers are better at science.

The Democrats response, as with all resistance to their stupid ideas, was bigotry, hate, libel, and slander, intimidation, bullying, and rage, with a side of doubling down on their rhetoric.

Turns out the Tea Party was right about everything. (And Democrats don’t like that much either.)

Here in New Hampshire (for example), the “success” of Obama Care can be summed up simply.

There can be ony one!  We now have only one provider for the so-called ‘exchange.’

You can’t get there from here: That provider has had to cut off access to half the hospitals in the state for those covered to try and keep costs down.

Reach for the Bottom: The rates are sill higher and given the flawed dynamic of the Democrat’s system they can only get more expensive over time.

It will cost taxpayers more to fund ObamaCare so…people can pay even more for their Insurance.

Paying the fine is so much cheaper that the people the left needs to pay to make this pig fly (the young and heahlty) will opt out, forcing taxes and fines higher.  (Remember: Democrats use taxes to change the behavior of their lab rats (us) by using political power to skew the marketplace.)

Quality of care follows declining access the way misery follows progressive socialism.  You cannot get blood from a stone–care will necessrily decline.

More actual people will not have insurance after implementation than the over inflated number of people the Democrats claimed ObamaCare would cover.

There are more failures, but let’s get back to the local impact.

I called the hhs phone line today along with Anthem for quotes on the insurance plans.  Regarding premiums,  the HHS monthly premium vs. the Anthem BCBS quote -please note the BCBS quote is the accurate cost.  Bronze:  HHS premium quote on bronze plan$185.00/mo -they had no additional information to provide

BCBS bronze plan quote along with some additional details$313.72/mo $4300 deductible/$6350 OOP cap Total cost – $10114.64/yr25% of your yearly take home pay at $46,000.00/yr (I calculated for 10% tax rate)

Doesn’t seem affordable and that is the cheapest plan available to NH residents.  I might add HHS rep was off on her quote for the premium by ~ 60% …. Must be using common core math to generate quotes

I have quotes for silver and gold bottom line at $46,000/yr you are paying 25% of your take home salary to HC insurance.

Another status update from a commenter on the thread provides this initial “improvement” thanks to ObamaCare…

You Vill Pay More or...ve vill tax you more!
You Vill Pay More or…ve vill tax you more!

Having Democrat policy shoved down your throat is like being forced to smoke light cigarettes. You have to suck twice as hard for half as much.

And of course the bigger picture is this.  All those dollars will be removed from the economy to pay more for something that used to cost less.  This will reduce or even eliminate discretionary income.  That will impact jobs, growth, stagnate wages, limit research and development, and…lower tax revenue at the state and local level, doubling down on the dreadful as towns and cities have to cut services or raise taxes on people who already have less money thanks to Democrat policy.

Thank you so much Jeanne Shaheen and Carol Shea-Porter.  May history rightly name you as among the parasites who destroyed the promise of America and poisoned that last best hope for people seeking the freedom to fail on their own terms in pursuit of chance at prosperity they could get no where else.

You’ve given them what they already had.  Planned failure, paid for by fines and taxes, enforced by bureaucratc thugs.  Nice legacy.
