Yet another NH Legislator who hates guns and those that own them – and is determined to take them away

Am reading down through the list of LSRs – thoughts of our legislators for bills for the upcoming session.  Well, we see that at least ONE person hates the idea that law abiding Citizens can’t be trusted with firearms without yet one more database kept on its citizens.

014-H-2205-R title: banning assault weapons and large-capacity ammunition magazines.

2014-H-2206-R title: requiring the registration of each firearm a person owns or possesses.

If she can’t take it from you, she certainly wants to know exactly who owns what. And with that last one, if it goes where I think it will, shall forbid any private sale of firearms. Like if one of the other Groksters had a firearm that they no longer wanted but did catch my interest (of which I can think of several)?  And WHY is it any of your business, Ms. Andrews-Ahearn?  Are you scared of the guns, or the citizens that possess them?  Or is this, yet again, the Progressive way – punish the bad folk by punishing all of us?  What is it about being a busybody that inserts themselves into everyone else’s lives, stops them from doing what they like (or at least makes it far more difficult), and then feels good about themselves?  Were you, in a former life, a National Park Service that enjoyed keeping WW II vets, or Korean War vets, or Viet Name War vets out of their memorials?  Does it give you “a thrill up my leg” in determining how others MUST live their lives?

This is like what Harry Reid and the rest of the Democrats in DC pulls – like the straight-laced schoolmarm that demands that a student hand over their <gum / cookies / cupcakes> unless that kid has enough for everyone, this is the “there must be enough for everyone or no one can have anything”.  Unless the adults are taken care of at Nellis Air Force base, then the dying kids can’t get their “last chance” radiation / chemo treatments from the NIH.

Nice to know that you have that mindset as well.  Except we all know how this is supposed to end up – we all have nothing because we all are to be treated as wards of the State – mere children.

Continuing on with that line of reasoning, that Govt must have its people (instead of what the Framers wanted, which was that WE just happen to have a government which puts US in charge), I ask you Elaine: how does just winning an election or drawing a government paycheck makes you The Adult In The Room in a such flash?

Why is it that you want to turn the State of New Hampshire into the lame State of Connecticut?
