So, what's the difference between then and now? - Granite Grok

So, what’s the difference between then and now?

Jeanne Shaheen – living a “Live Shot” Kerry moment?  Let’s see, Saddam used chemicals, so did Assad.  The President said “They have WMDs and we can’t let them fall into the hands of terrorists”, and so did the  President

“Failing to take action against Assad’s regime and their use of chemical weapons poses a real threat to our national security interests,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H. “I do believe we have to act to deter the spread and use of weapons of mass destruction.”

Shaheen, who won her senate seat in part by campaigning against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, was joined by most Democrats on the panel in backing the measure.

Er, what was the difference?  Oh yeah, one is a Republican and one is a Democrat.  Shaheen is a Democrat.  And consistency reigns.

Good to know.  I do have to say, at least Carol Shea-Porter is consistent – no then and no now.  Kudos for that consistency.  Shaheen has the breeze swing.
