Joe Biden, protector of women from “Neanderthals”

Never put it past Joe Biden to come up with some outlandish statement for apparently no reason other than a camera is nearby.  He spoke to a packed-with-supporters room last night about his single-handed efforts to stop violence against women:

The bill Biden passed single-handedly is twenty years old and had come up for re-authorization but Republicans were holding it up – a theme you will hear constantly for the next three years.

Here is quote from the story which mentions, by the way, how Biden, according to himself, knows the US Senate better than anyone else in history – a theme you will hear constantly for the next three years:

“I’m going to say something outrageous,” Biden said, with his aides in the room surely cringing. “I think I understand the Senate better than any man or women who’s ever served in there, and I think I understand the House … I was surprised this last time … The idea we still had to fight? We had to fight to reauthorize?”

Another theme from the meme: Fight, fight, fight. Biden, as do most liberals, always sneak the idea they are fighting into almost every speech. If you paid any attention to Anthony Weiner’s glowing campaign rhetoric during his recent run for Mayor of New York you will see it littered with the fight theme.  In the crazy world of liberals making speeches you can always count on the “up is down and down is up” thought process to engage.  Biden is bringing up the issue of violence against women as we are winding down from our visit to Weinerville, New York and San Diego, CaliFilner.

Yup, Republicans are Neanderthals all right when it comes to women’s issues – just don’t let your secretary in a room alone for more than a minute with Bill Clinton.

Joe Biden, protector of women.
