Makes Perfect Sense- Part-Time Employment-Nation Run by Part-Time President

Unemployment went down but the line isn't getting shorter
Yeah, Mom? I’ll be late for dinner. I’m in line trying to get a second part time job.

Yes, yes, we know the left promised good jobs with living wages for American families.  The left promised us we’d be under boiling seas as well–didn’t stop the limousine liberals from owning or spending slivers of their fortunes on beachfront property.  Obama Care was filled with more progressive promises than you can shake a multi-thousand page bill at (or a stick if you prefer) but most of those chickens came home to the roost to find they might lose their doctor, their carrier, maybe even their full time job, and that meant kissing the nest egg good bye to pay the higher cost of premiums the Democrats promised us would go down.

What can I say besides we told you so.  We elected a part-time president (twice) who is a full time progressive that spends most of his time either campaigning for the job he already has or promoting the lies that are all too real to jobless American families living off empty promises.

The most recent mouthful of that never-so-tasty reality sandwich is that the full-time progressive part-time President is now the overseer of part-time nation.

The Washington Times Reports…

Fully 77 percent of positions added to the market in 2013 have been part-time, in contrast to the positive economic news making the media rounds, according to payroll reports released in recent weeks.

Only a handful of the positions have been full-time, benefit-providing opportunities, one economic analyst reported on the blog, Zero Hedge.

In June, there were 360,000 part-time jobs added around the nation — but at the same time, the number of reported full-time positions dropped by 240,000. And in July, it was more of the same dire economic news.

Numbers taken from the Household Survey revealed that 266,000 jobs were added in the month of July, but of those, only 92,000 — or 35 percent — were full time.

The remaining 65 percent were part-time, economic analysts found.

The economist also said on Zero Hedge: “But what really shows what is going on in America, at least in 2013, is … of the 953,000 jobs ‘created’ so far in 2013, only 23 percent, or 222,000 were full-time. Part-time jobs? [That was] 731,000,” or 77 percent of the total 953,000.

That’s Barry’s World and you had best get used to it because nothing Democrats have done or tried to do since ever, even going back to 2006 when Reid and Pelosi took control of congress, was designed to do anything else.  That is not to say that they expected a different outcome.  Keep in mind, many of them drink their own Kool Aid along with the other progressive party flavors.

Punch-drunk can’t begin to describe the disaster that follows.  Well, you are watching it unfold before your very eyes, and the only (ONLY) solution is for states to exercise their sovereign right to say no-thanks to the progressive train wreck and to focus on building their own support systems and funding mechanisms internally.  If they don’t those most in need will be screwed when the bottom falls out.  States that lunged for the Federal dollars, to welfare and Medicaid expansions, will find themselves with more hands and no handouts, and a job-less national economy burdened by the part-time president and his party of progressive blunders.

We’re barely keeping up with the number of jobs we need to break even with the labor force; with most of those being part-time jobs we’re not really keeping up at all.  And Obama has no incentive to do anything different.  He’ll just keep campaigning on the promise that can never come because everything he really believes is designed to do the opposite.
