If your glasses have “RAAAACIST” printed on them, that’s all you can see

Racial ProfilingI don’t really much care if you are black, white, red, yellow, or purple with green polka dots.  Really don’t – perhaps it’s because being an engineer, I really only care about results.  Do you love your family, work hard to support them, are kind to your pets and other little animals, smile with your friends, charitable to those in need, and follow the law?  Are you a help to your community?  Do you think that MLK was right about being judged by the content of one’s character?

Or view people with a worldview that automatically says “the color of your skin demands that I think you are racist”?  This REALLY annoys me (emphasis mine, reformatted) as it seems that some are just plain stuck in time either can’t see that 2013 is not 1963 – or depend that they can persuade the rest of us that nothing has changed.  And it shows that racial profiling can go both ways:

Many Americans, even those who didn’t support Sen. Barack Obama’s policies, welcomed the sight of a black president in 2008 as a sign of racial progress. The director of Lee Daniels’ The Butler insists that election showed the country’s “true colors”–we’re still a racist nation. And it’s gotten worse since Obama first took office. Daniels, speaking with the low-rated Piers Morgan on CNN Monday night, gave this answer when asked if the country had become more or less racist since Obama’s 2008 election victory.

I think that people are angry that he’s president, and I think that they’re showing their true colors. And I think that – I think that, you know, when Danny Strong wrote those words, “Any black man can be killed by any white man and get away with it,” Trayvon Martin had not happened. I end the movie with hope, you know. He’s walking down and Obama’s giving that famous speech, you know? And then I come out of my edit room and Trayvon Martin has happened. So yeah, I think so – sadly I think so.

The Butler co-star, singer/actor Lenny Kravitz, echoed some of his director’s sentiments on the matter.

… there are people – when you move forward, there are always going to be people that don’t want to go that way, they don’t want to buy into that. They want to hold onto their traditions and their beliefs and the way they were raised. And therefore you have a lot of people that are fighting back and showing their true colors, as Lee said.

Sure.  I’m not the only one  that has said that racism, to be perfectly politically incorrect, has nothing to do with one’s color – it is an attitude irrelevant to what shows when you look in the mirror (see the picture above) – it can be bi-directional regardless of what Lee Daniels or Lenny Kravitz say.  No matter what the official policy of the NAACP or Eric Holder’s US Department of Justice (and many others), racism can be perpetrated by skin color other than white.  No, the definition of racism is not just hinged on whites towards others.  Frankly, I believe that Daniels’s & Kravitz’s words could very well be construed as racist as it summarily paints an entire group of people as being racist.  Isn’t that the definition of perpetuating a stereotype?

What is worse is that when it comes to Obama, they ONLY believe (a la pretty much most of the MSNBC talking heads) that opposition to Obama can only be described as the result of racism – there can be no other reason possible.  Not that he demonstrably is ultra-liberal in policy, not that he has demonstrably put this country into deep hock (along with his predecessors, although he has done more than all of the rest of them combined), not that he has ignored authorizing legislation, not that his departments are making major changes to American lives on their own as if they were Congress, that he has targeted individuals simply because of political disagreements, that he has come up with cockamamie ideas for redefinitions to implement every Progressives idea of their Utopia?

And told the rest of us that we are evil if we disagree?

No, Obama being half black has nothing to do with it – but these and others stuck in stupid, can’t seem to tolerate that we simply disagree with his ideas and that his skin color is irrelevant.  But that would spoil their narrative, wouldn’t it?

towards whites can only be Caucasian driven, that racism shown towards whites cannot be, then , racism goes all ways.
