In an effort to free themselves from the avalanche of evidence that out of state voters came to New Hampshire to “live” with local Democrats just long enough to vote for Democrats (before leaving to go back home to their own states and lives) New Hampshire Progressives may have just moth-balled their axe-grinding-public-perception-false-outrage narrative machine.
Zandra Rice Hawkins and lawyer Martin “Marty” Honigberg are trying to tell us… that we can’t possible know someone’s intent with regard to coming here and voting here; you can never know what they are really thinking and planning, whether they intend to stay or not. I happen to think we’ve already proven them wrong repeatedly, and will continue to do so, but why ruin a perfectly good ‘gimmie’ from the professional left. Let’s just take the gift they have given us.
So I guess we won’t be seeing any more press releases in which the New Hampshire Democrat party takes the random words or actions of a political opponent and then tells us what they think their intent was? No more Kathy Sullivan editorials in which she pontificates on the real meaning of the Republican agenda or the meaning behind some action or turn of phrase?
You can’t possibly know what their real intent was. Zandra? Kathy? New Hampshire Democrats?
So neither you nor any other New Hampshire Democrats–who now cling to this idea of “not knowing the intent” of adult children and professional campaign operatives from outside New Hampshire who show up to claim domicile just long enough to vote here–will be defining and publicizing the “intent” of any political opponents words or actions moving forward? Right?
What are you going to do with all that free time?
